The construction of the Olkaria V geothermal power plant, in Kenya, will begin in January 2017. Gesto, through its associated company SGC - a partnership between Gesto and the Italian company Steam – Is developing the Olkaria V since June 2015 and next January the project will enter in the construction phase of the three lots: i) steam gathering system; Ii) power plant; and iii) substation and power line....

F.J. Martínez-Moreno et al. relied on the extensive and detailed study developed by Gesto, in 2010, for the development of the “Renewable Energy Atlas of Cabo Verde”, to publish, in the prestigious “Journal of Applied Geophysics”, an article about the water prospection in volcanic islands by Time Domain Electromagnetic (TDEM) surveying.
