22 Mar SÃO TOMÉ E PRÍNCIPE, GESTO OUTLOOK FOR THE ENERGY SECTOR

Under the project Strengthening the Institutional Capacities of the General Regulation Authority, Gesto presented last week, a comprehensive assessment and outlook of the Energy Sector in São Tomé e Príncipe.
The Public presentation, held at the Brazilian Embassy in São Tomé, was attended by local Government officials and representatives as well as members of the civil society and the Ambassador of China in São Tomé e Príncipe and the Ambassador of Portugal in São Tomé e Príncipe.
One of the main topics was the Tariff revision recommendation that was presented to the government of São Tomé e Príncipe. These recommendations are part of the outputs of the project Strengthening the Institutional Capacities of the General Regulation Authority (AGER) that was developed by an international consortium of Gesto, MRC and Siglasul.
