GESTO SUPPORTS SÃO TOMÉ E PRÍNCIPE MINI-HYDRO PROJECTS

Gesto is part of a consortium that was selected by the government of São Tomé and Príncipe to support the country in the preparation of international bidding tenders for the development of mini-hydro power plants projects. Being a leading hydropower consulting expert, Gesto will be responsible for the technical component of the project.

The project started in December 2021 with the first in-country mission, where the team had the project kick-off,  first meetings with the client and relevant stakeholders and collected pertinent data. The final delivery is expected to happen in the middle of 2022.

This project is supported by the African Legal Support Facility (ALSF).
ALSF is an international organization hosted by the African Development Bank (“AfDB”) Group. The Facility provides legal advice and technical assistance to African countries.
