SGA – Sistema de Gestão de Activos – Asset Management System

CONTEXT

As part of the broader Fixed Assets Project, the SGA (Asset Management System) was developed by GESTO to support the Ministry of Energy and Water in creating a comprehensive, accurate, and georeferenced inventory of Angola’s electricity infrastructure. Utilities across the country lacked a modern and centralized system to track and manage electrical assets, leading to operational inefficiencies and planning constraints.
The SGA platform introduces a digital, centralized, and user-friendly environment for managing all types of electrical assets.

OBJECTIVES

Digitize and centralize the inventory of energy assets across Angola
Support utilities with modern tools for asset registration, tracking, and maintenance
Enable informed planning, maintenance, and investment decisions based on accurate asset data

DESCRIPTION

SGA (Sistema de Gestão de Ativos / Asset Management System) is a robust software platform designed to manage and monitor electrical infrastructure assets in real time. It stores detailed technical, spatial, and descriptive data for each asset, including transmission and distribution lines.
