PORTUGAL, NEW GESTO’S 21 MWP SOLAR PV CLUSTER

Gesto is finalizing the construction of its latest solar PV cluster, which has a total capacity of 21 MWp, spread across several locations in the south and center of Portugal.

The Mação solar PV power plant, which began construction in October 2023, is the first power plant of this cluster to be completed. The grid connection is expected to take place this month, July 2024. With a total output of 2.1 MWp, the Mação PV power plant is situated in an industrial area near the geodesic center of Portugal and comprises 3,276 photovoltaic modules covering an area of 4 hectares.

The construction of the entire 21 MWp cluster is expected to be completed and grid-connected by the end of 2024.
