Serpa, 2 July 2021
Gesto development team visited the Insua solar PV power plant located in Pias, Serpa municipality, in the Portuguese region of Alentejo.
The power plant will generate 48.5 MW of peak power and will prevent, annually, the emission of 55,280 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere. The development of the project started in 2015 and it’s expected to connect to the grid before the end of 2021.
The Insua project was one of the first projects developed by Muki Solar, the company of the Gesto group responsible for the development of solar projects.
