ANGOLA, ENDE’S FIXED ASSET MANAGEMENT PROGRAM RE-STARTING

After a long break due to COVID restrictions, ENDE’S Fixed Asset Management Program re-started in March 2023 and is expected to last 20 months. This project aims the implementation of structural and performance enhancements based on the georeferencing of the company’s network assets, optimization of technical assets management and optimization of business processes, enhancing client management and improving business KPI’s. It will also allow to support all the commercial relationship providing inputs for billing software’s, CRM’s, etc., therefore leading to a maximization of revenue assurance.

Under the project development, July 2023 marked the conclusion of the georeferencing of ENDE’s network assets in the Luanda and Bengo Region which accounts for 60% of ENDE’s total assets in Angola. Also in July 2023 ENDE’s team supported by Gesto started the georeferencing works in the remaining 16 Provinces.

About SGA and SGA Mobile georeferencing tools

To support the georeferencing works, ENDE will use SGA (Asset Management System), a software working tool developed by Gesto that enables any utility to register and manage all its assets, including the exact location of each asset, detailed characteristics, attributes and technical features.

On the field, the teams will use SGA Mobile, a powerful georeferencing tool developed for Android smartphones and tablets that allows to register electrical assets, such as lines, substations, transformer stations, meters, etc. Currently with more than 30 types of assets hierarchically structured, SGA Mobile has the possibility of introducing and customizing new assets according with the client’s needs.

SGA Mobile allows companies to register their assets utilizing their internal human resources (meters readers), saving money and time.
