GESTO SUPPORTS ANGOLA IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF NATIONAL PLAN

Luanda, 18 April 2019,

Gesto supported the Ministry of Energy and Waters (Ministério da Energia e Águas – MINEA), in the development of the national action plan for the energy and water sector for 2018-2022.

The action plan, developed in 2018, aims to establish the priorities and projects for the development of the Energy and Water Sector for the next 5 years in Angola, in execution of the Government Program, through 3 main programs for each sector.

At the energy level: i) Expansion of Access to Electricity; ii) Optimization and Sustainable Management of the Electric Sector and iii) Private Participation in the Electricity Sector.

At the water level: i) Expansion of Water Supply; ii) Sustainable Management of the Water Sector and iii) Rehabilitation/expansion of Collection Systems and Wastewater Treatment.
